The 2005 Area Allstar Champions of Region 88 boys Under 14 had an exceptional season. The team learned not only soccer skills, but also the importance of sportmanship, self-control, hard work and commitment. They learned that there is no system of play, there is no amount of training, and there is no coach that will make a team succeed if the players are not committed. Most importantly they learned: You don' do it alone. They showed fantastic teamwork and coordination, what I call beautiful soccer and made the games fun to watch. Congratulations: Alan, Alejandro, Allen, Bijan, Billy, Chris C, Chris R., Ian, Michael, Mircea, Robin, Sevan, Stefan, Tim, and Walker . Special thanks to coaches Mike, Al, Armik and Eugene. |
