The Glendale U10 Boys Tournament Team "Eagles" placed first to win the Championship of the 12th Annual Highlander Classic 2006 (oldest AYSO tournaments in Southern California) by winning all their games without a loss. The tournament was held on May 20 and 21. Fourteenth Regions had entered this tournament. First, the Eagles won all their regular games without a loss. They then won the semi-final game in their division. They ended by winning the final game against the other division winner. The team members for this very capable team are:: Co-Coach Agustin Coppola, Sevag H, Andrew T, Tedrick M, Luca C, Russell C, Cameron R, Arlen S, Eric K, Anders S, Robert W and Co-Coaches John Raleigh and Agustin Coppola. Congratulations!

The Glendale under 10 Girls team, the Pink Panthers,beat out 12 very strong teams on May 13 and 14th to take 1st place in Lakewood Fox and Hare Tournament. The team played 5 games over a 2 day period and proved that they are second to none. This was their 2nd gold title in two tournaments They beat Palisades 3-0, beat Lakewood 1-0 (Glendale played 1 player short the entire game), then defeated a very strong Woodland Hills team 2-0. In the semifinals, Downey fought hard, but they were no match to the Glendale girl's determination and desire to be #1.The result was 2-1 in favor of Glendale. And finally for the grand final on Sunday evening, the Pink Panthers defeated Temple City team in a dramatic manner . The game was extended to penalty kicks after 2 overtime periods.. At the end Glendale won the game 2-1. (3-2 on PK) The team members for this very capable team are: Madeline P, Natalie F, Alineh D, Katie W, Katie Bittle, Anais S, Leanis S, Itzia V, Coaches Aramazd Davidian, Dan Bittle, and Craig Warden.
