After warming up the All-Star season with a championship in the Myles Standish tournament with a convincing 22 goals scored and only 1 given up, the Boys Under-14 Section team came in 1st place in the Area C league and then took the Area C championship with convincing wins over Alhambra and long-time rival Arcadia.  This was the first Area C championship for a Boys Under-14 Section team since 1987... 20 years.

The team then went on to the Section finals in Riverside to try to win what no other Boys Under-14 team has ever won - a Section 1 Championship. After a unfortunate 2-0 loss in the first game to Perris, Glendale bounced back to beat South Redondo Beach 3-1 and Hemit 2-1. But the two  victories were not enough as Glendale came in 2nd place and fell a few points shy of advancing to the semi-finals. They smelled the trophy but Region 88 history must wait for another day. They're happy knowing the were in the final 8 teams out of all the Section All-star teams in Los Angeles, San Bernadino, Southern Nevada, and Western Arizona counties.

Overall, an awesome run with 61 goals scored and only 19 given up in the team's 18 games together.  The players were a fantastic group of kids and will move onto a great success in the future.

Congratulations to : Cameron D, Joe S, Chris R, Walker F, Chris C, Sevan Z,  Jonathon G, Patrick A , Joshua J,  Ian S, Joncarlo P, Timmy N, Alejandro J,  Kevin P, Team Coordinator Van Nguyen, and Coaches Chris Ryder and Carlos Pena.
