Lake Tahoe "Come Up for Air" Tournament
(June 22-24)

Glendale's Bu14 Tournament team took to the road in search of an unprecedented 3rd consecutive tournament win. The 9 hour trip was well worth it as the boys played better than ever and swept through the the open tournament. They beat Tahoe Ice club team 2-1, Richmond 1-0, Burbank 3-2 (..yes,that Burbank), and Internationale club team from San Francisco 2-1 in the final. The Tahoe fires started about 5 miles away right before the championship game, but the game went on, and Glendale beat a super strong club team to win the 1st place trophy. They saved their best soccer for their final game together. Well done for an incredible tournamenr season!. In between games, they enjoyed the recreation and beauty of Lake Tahoe. Congratulations to the Tahoe champions : Joseph S, Jonathan G, Michael A, Timothy N, Joncarlo P, Kevin P, Joshua J, Pavle A, Rodolfo A, Alejandro J, Chris C, Sevan Z, Michael S, and coaches Chris Ryder and Carlos Pena. Overall, from the first tourament together, this team has won 32 games, tied 1 and lost only 5. They have scored 115 goals and given up only 43 goals.
