Glendale U12 Boys Section Allstars had an excellent Area and Section season

SECTION Tournament in riverside

Glendale's U12 Boys Section team finished regular play in Area in first place with a 7-1 record with 21 points to Arcadia's 20 points. At the Area play-offs, Glendale initially beat a physical Temple City team 6-2. But in the afternoon, Glendale had an injured player and two players were missing from the final game which handicapped Glendale to finish second in a close game with Arcadia 1-3.

Both Arcadia and Glendale qualified to the Sectional Championships in Riverside. At Sectional, Glendale met Covina, a favorite among the coaches at Sectional due to the depth of talent. Glendale came out on top 4-3 in an exciting game, and moved on to play Western Arizona's Champion. Glendale again came out on top 4-0 in a tough defensive contest against Western Arizona. Glendale next faced Diamond Bar, a Champion in their Area, and Glendale prevailed 6-0. After the first day, Glendale finished first in its bracket. The next morning Glendale was set to face Culver City, another champion of its Area, and Glendale came on strong in the game with attack after attack but could not put the ball in the net, and fell short 1-3. In the end, Glendale finished fourth losing to Hollywood 1-3.

The U12 Section Boys team also received the maximum score for Good Sportsmanship
