Region 88 did very well in the 2006 Allstar season.
The Under-14 Boys Area and Region teams won their tournament and the Under-14 Girls Region team came in second place.

Coach Aramazd would like to congratulate all the players for making the All-star season a great one and finishing 2nd in regular season and 3rd among eight AYSO regions. It was a great ride and I enjoyed each and everyone who made the team and participated. We “glued” as a team and most importantly as teammates. I can not leave the parents out, you guys were great. I like to extend my sincere thanks to our volunteers and especially to Vahe and Aline Babaian for their continued volunteerisms season after season. Hope to see you all next year! Congratulations to Coach Tom Regan and Carlos pena and all the boys
on our U14B Region All Star team for an undefeated season and winning
the championship. We're so proud of how you played as a team considering
many of you hadn't played together before. You were a joy to coach and

The 2005 Area Allstar Champions of region 88 boys under 14 had an exceptional season. The team learned not only soccer skills, but also the importance of sportmanship, self-control, hard work and commitment. They learned that there is no system of play, there is no amount of training, and there is no coach that will make a team succeed if the players are not committed. Most importantly they learned: You don’t do it alone”. They showed fantastic teamwork and coordination, what I call “beautiful soccer”, and made the games fun to watch. Congratulations: Alan, Alejandro, Allen, Bijan, Billy, Chris C, Chris R., Ian, Michael, Mircea, Robin, Sevan, Stefan, Tim, and Walker . Special thanks to coaches Mike, Al, Armik and Eugene. |
