Fall Season Suspension

We were recently informed that the Los Angeles County Health Department has placed new protocols on all youth sporting events in Los Angeles County starting September 1. The protocol requires weekly COVID testing by all players and volunteers within 72 hours of all games regardless of vaccination status and the results must be provided to the Region before the competition begins or the athlete or volunteer may not be present at the competition.

We are currently working with AYSO National, Section and Area and the other regions to determine the best path forward for the Fall Season. Please know that we have NOT cancelled the season and we remain optimistic that will not be necessary.

Effective on September 1 (Wednesday), all practices and games are suspended until September 12th. No refunds or credits will be issued at this time until a determination regarding the season is made.
