What is a Team Coordinator?
A Team Coordinator (aka. Team Parent) has a crucial role on every team as the coach's assistant, cheerleader, team communicator and traffic director all in one. They are also the unofficial Kids Zone representative at every game. Kids Zone is one of the ways AYSO makes sure all its players and volunteers are having fun. The program encourages spectators to use good language, show good sportsmanship in attitude and behavior, and create an enjoyable season for every player.

What do I need to do to become a Team Coordinator?
Please submit a volunteer application and background check. Once that is completed, please complete the following online safety courses:

  • Safe Haven
  • Concussion Awareness
  • Sudden Cardiac Arrest
