Important Registration Information

Second (Spring) season registration is closed 

Please refer to the Registration Fees listed below:

  • (5U-14U) Games played from March 7 - May 9, 2020. Practice and game schedules will be made available after teams are formed in February.
  • Registration and payment is done online via credit, debit or prepaid gift card. Click the REGISTER NOW button if you are a new applicant (top right button) [Online Registration Instructions].

  • Please email our Registrar for assistance with your account or username or for instructions to pay by check or money order. No registration events will be scheduled.

  • New players to AYSO and Region 88 Glendale must upload a copy of an age verification document (birth certificate, passport, insurance card – if birth date is listed.) New and some returning players may need to attend a brief evaluation.

  • Please sign up in January to take advantage of the monthly payment plan offered in most divisions.

  • All players who register for the 16U and 19U will be added to a waiting list and no fee will be collected. Teams will be selected from those who apply and all players/families will be contacted in February.

*U4 players must be 3 years of age on or before first session. **5U players must be 4 years of age on or before first session.

The effective date of age determination for registration shall be the player's age as of December 31, 2020.

Registration Instructions

Registration is not completed and placement will not be reserved until registration and payment have been fully processed and approved.

Registration is done by clicking the LOGIN button (current players) or REGISTER NOW (new players). All registrations are done online.

Second Season Information

Registration Fee: $100 5U-14U divisions; $40 U4 Playground. Includes uniform and participation medal.

A mandatory $20 National Player Fee will be charged to all players who were not registered in the past Fall season.

Open Registration: Second Season is open to all, including players who did not participate in the Fall Core season.

Dates: Games played from March 7 - May 9. Schedules will be made available in late February. Most games to be scheduled on Saturdays, some games may be rescheduled to Sunday if necessary.

Proof of Age: All new players must present valid proof of age (eg. birth certificate) preferably by uploading during registration.

Ages: 3-14 years old. 16U and 19U will be by invitation only (tournament play).

 Returning players in the 6U-14U divisions will participate in the same division they played in the previous Fall Core season. See Age Bracket below.

Playoffs: 10U and older divisions will be considered “competitive divisions”, where scores will be kept, and playoffs will be held at the end of the regular season.

Evaluations: All players who did not participate in the Fall season must be evaluated.

Requests: Fall teams may play together if requested (in some divisions).

Practices: Practices to be held every other week, pending field availability.

Equipment Required: Shin guards, soccer cleats, a soccer ball (correct size) and water bottle. Ball size 3 for 8U division and lower, size 4 for 10U and 12U, size 5 for 14U, 16U and 19U.

Refund Policy

AYSO Region 88 Glendale allows for refunds submitted before the posted deadline. All requests must be submitted in writing and must include the reasons and/or circumstances involved. 

  • Any player who withdrawals before the posted deadline date and time will be refunded their registration fee, minus any non-refundable membership fee and/or cancellation fee.
  • A $10 cancellation fee will be charged for all refunds.
  • The parent or guardian requesting the refund must complete and submit a Request to Cancel Registration Form.
  • Refunds and credits can be carried over from season to season and applied toward the registration fees of a following season.
  • Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for approved refunds to be processed.

The regional registration fee does not include the $20.00 AYSO National Player Fee which is non-refundable and non-transferable. All refunds will also be subject to a $10 administrative fee.

Wait List

In an attempt to create BALANCED TEAMS & schedules, each division has a limited number of roster spots. Player(s) attempting to register in full divisions will be placed on WAIT LIST.

Player(s) on the waiting list are not guaranteed a roster spot and will be notified and placed on a team ONLY as space becomes available.

Coaches are NOT authorized to accept player(s), on-time or late registrations, without the Regional Commissioner or Regional Registrar’s approval.

The Spring Season will be limited in size by the number of volunteers willing to assist the region. Please consider volunteering as a head coach, assistant coach or team manager. If you’re interested in volunteering, please include a volunteer application you’re interested in during the registration process.
